The challenge
First, organize ideas and develop a promising strategy to deploy a new mutual aid and distribution system that improves the profitability and accessibility of local foods. Then, create a strong image and eloquent words to present a unifying project that makes other producers, partners and the population want to join it, as well as to educate and sensitize the latter to consume and promote foods grown (or processed) on their territory.
The Idea
To achieve these objectives, we have implemented a strategic approach with the region's Agri-Agro Committee, which includes 8 local producers, DEV, CSUR and MAPAQ. After several collaborative workshops, we defined the strategic positioning of this initiative, developed a brand pyramid and a key idea that underlies the project: Cultivate. Bring together. Feeding.
The Impact
Thanks to the Food Hub, agri-food producers in Vaudreuil-Soulanges reach a wider clientele — citizens, restaurants, institutions, hotels. By pooling their efforts, they have put in place a flexible and economical solution to distribute their products. The strong and distinctive brand image built by Rümker — visible, among other things, on the fire truck transformed into a mobile farmer's market — fostered the success of this daring initiative powered by DEV Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The sustainable consumption project continues to develop today. The CSUR Cooperative (also our client) has taken up the torch through its Ecolocal Market project and imagines the continuation of this great adventure!
